DEADLORE

Deadlock ranks: how ranked mode works

All Deadlock ranks in order and how ranked mode works: calibration, subranks and climbing. Rank table from Obscurus to Eternus.

Ranked mode

In summer 2026 Valve added a proper ranked mode to Deadlock: you can now queue Standard with nothing at stake, or Ranked, where wins and losses move your visible rank.

Your rating calibrates over the first matches of the season and updates after every game. The matchmaker pairs you with players of similar skill, so early-season swings are normal.

All ranks in order

Deadlock has 11 main ranks, each split into six subranks (I–VI): Initiate, Seeker, Alchemist, Arcanist, Ritualist, Emissary, Archon, Oracle, Phantom, Ascendant and Eternus. The separate Obscurus badge means your rank is not calibrated yet.

Check what ranks the strongest players hold right now on our leaderboard — ranks there come from live data.

How to climb

Stick to a stable pool of 2–3 heroes and follow the meta: hero win rates shift noticeably between patches.

Farm wins games: a 10k-soul lead wins most duels. Do not skip creep waves and jungle camps.

Review your matches in the tracker: per-hero win rate, KDA and farm curves quickly show what is holding you back.
