Deadlock team fight guide: positioning, target focus, ultimate timing, active items and disengaging.
Most fights are decided before the first shot: full health, ultimates ready, actives purchased and a numbers advantage. Missing any of these? Don't take the fight.
Agree on a target beforehand: focused fire on one hero kills faster than damage smeared across three.
Fight roles differ: tanks make space up front, gunners hold range and delete key targets, supports watch teammates. The worst plan is everyone stacking in one spot for splash damage.
Active items decide fights: silence disarms an ult-reliant hero, a shield breaks enemy focus, anti-heal turns off sustain. Press them deliberately, not in panic.
Watch your stamina: a brawler with no dashes mid-fight is just a target.
A won fight is a window: take objectives, grab the mid boss, open the map. A victory followed by everyone scattering to jungle is a wasted victory.
Lost fights need finishing too: retreat together and don't feed stragglers one by one. Reviewing your fights in the tracker quickly shows where your team bleeds tempo.
